Position Overview

The Client Content Marketing Team is responsible for telling our client’s stories online. This includes writing, managing freelance writers, planning content calendars and creating social media post. The team also assists clients with related web requests and initiatives through research, web testing tools, and consulting on best practices.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and two years of experience in writing and/or editing websites, blogs, or publications; or any equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to conceptualize, write,      and edit, accurate and concise content for different audiences.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, conduct multiple tasks and maintain effective working relationships with clients and coworkers.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team.
  • Ability to visually inspect copy when self-editing or editing the copy of others.
  • Works effectively within a team and effectively works closely with other team members and clients.
  • Knowledge of reaching out to sources and ability to conduct interviews and take accurate notes.
  • Knowledge of spelling, grammar, punctuation, and Associated Press and Chicago Manual styles. (we use Grammarly as a backup)
  • Knowledge of writing guidelines for various media and ability to create unique copy for the web.
  • Understanding of your client’s business strategy & ability to quickly assimilate client voice and brand into the content.
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities for a web-based content manager include knowledge of WordPress, cross-browser testing, and manipulation of page display for mobile devices. Ability to check web articles and content for accuracy, functionality, and spelling before pages or posts are published.  Ability to plan and schedule content for multiple clients.

Preferred Qualifications

The preferred candidate will have experience with Adobe Creative Suite, content management, and WordPress. Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Computer Science, and/or User Experience Degrees are welcome to apply.

Job Duties

Create, coordinate, publish and distribute content for websites and social media

Collaborate with clients and team embers and people across multiple time zones to develop content and promote our client’s businesses.

Monitor website tools like Google Analytics to help enhance the site

Work with the marketing team in creating news posts, calendar updates, event posts, resources, and various web page content

Establish and monitor metrics for content effectiveness and communicate reports to clients and the team

Identify new digital tools and tactics to help our client’s stories and brand reach a wider audience

Develop and follow strategies, policies, and standards for digital content creation and management for clients and Seota

Identify and integrate key web elements in need for better user experience with interactive content, social media integration, web graphic design, and use experience
